Well you've hopefully now seen me on the Homepage video and heard me summarise my experience. In a nutshell, I've "walked the walk" having sold and marketed at various levels in the IT industry for 25 years and "talked the talk" having worked with over 800 SME business owners over the last 5 years, predominantly as a business adviser for a not-for-profit company. Whilst there are undoubtedly many good business mentors and IT consultants out there (and I've worked with a number of them), I think I have the advantage of being able to apply both disciplines to your business. So, for example, I can help you select and implement a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system AND know what sales processes will work for you using the CRM. So often I see businesses that install software without getting much benefit or conversely try hard to improve sales without thinking about IT technology that could help oil the wheels. I know I can add value in both such scenarios.

The brief: Consistent with my guidance in Online Promotion, the website has to explain succinctly my value propositions. It is essentially a delivery vehicle for 2 distinct elements; my video on the home page and the hints & tips reference articles for my contacts. It has to be fast, clean, effective and accessible. Consistency with my branding (colour, logo) is a given. I expect most, if not all, enquiries will come from existing or referred businesses where a mutual trust will already be in place or there to build - so SEO is not a particular concern.
